Negli ultimi tempi visitare il Chiostro del Bramante è un'esperienza incredibilmente bella! Vi ho raccontato della mostra dedicata a Cleopatra e che è possibile visitare fino al 2 Aprile, ma vale la pena visitare questo luogo anche per le mostre di arte contemporanea che vengono ospitate presso la Caffetteria.

 

Fino al 10 Febbraio, presso la Caffetteria del Chiostro del Bramante a Roma, potete rilassarvi e ammirare le opere di Paola De Rosa.

Tra i generi artistici la scultura mi affascina per la complessità delle sue tecniche e  l’abilità che richiede l’esecuzione. Tra gli scultori del passato il mio preferito è sicuramente Gian Lorenzo Bernini ( 1598 – 1680). Figlio di uno scultore, sin da giovanissimo ha dimostrato di essere dotato di grande talento e di un forte temperamento. E’ stato il principale artista del Barocco e ha contribuito al rinnovamento in chiave barocca dell’urbanistica della città di Roma, realizzando opere che esprimono tutta la forza e il potere della Chiesa.

I think that the Bernini sculptures you have to see live. I show you some images of the "Rape of Proserpine" located at the Galleria Borghese in Rome. It 'a beautiful sculpture that conveys emotions and sensuality in every way you look at it. Every time I look at the rest admired the attention to detail, from the perfection in representing a dramatic moment and full of tension. It 'so realistic that you can empathize with the terror of Proserpine for not being able to break free, but also in the struggles of Pluto in groped to stop her. Amazing!

Io credo che le sculture del Bernini si debbano vedere di persona. Vi mostro alcune immagini del "Ratto di Proserpina" conservato presso la Galleria Borghese a Roma. Si tratta di una scultura stupenda, che trasmette emozioni e sensualità da qualsiasi punto la si osservi. Ogni volta che osservo quest'opera resto strabiliata dalla cura dei dettagli, dalla perfezione nel rappresentare un evento drammatico e carico di tensione. E' talmente realistico che è possibile immedesimarsi sia nel terrore di Proserpina per il non riuscire a liberarsi, sia nella fatica di Plutone nel tentare di trattenerla. Incredibile!

Progettato nel 1932 dall'architetto italiano Giuseppe Momo, questa scala si trova all'interno dei Musei Vaticani ed è composta da spirali diverse, una in salita per raggiungere le esposizioni , e un altro di uscita dal museo.

Giuseppe Momo (Vercelli, 7 dicembre 1875 – Torino, 9 maggio 1940) è stato un ingegnere e architetto italiano. Attivo nei primi quarant'anni del Novecento, realizzò numerosissime opere a Torino e in Piemonte, ma soprattutto a Roma dove, su committenza di papa Pio XI, contribuì alla trasformazione architettonica della Città del Vaticano
