With over 69,000 visitors during its 47 days of opening, the exhibition The avant-garde in Paris fin de siècle: Signac, Bonnard, Redon and their contemporaries is experiencing a huge success with audiences and critics. Being able to visit the exhibition preview for me was excited and I had already told the details of that exciting day. I'm happy for the success that has met and I can only invite you to visit, if you have not already done so.
An unmissable exposure that leads to Venice the great French avant-garde of the late nineteenth century, with a wineskin 100 works, including paintings, works on paper and prints, all from European private collections, some of which are exhibited for the first time.

Robert Motherwell

The main exhibition of the summer at Guggenheim Collection is dedicated entirely to what Robert Motherwell  defined "the greatest of our artistic discoveries", the techinique of papier collè. The exhibition at Guggenheim Collection after Venice will travels overseas to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York. It comprises about 50 works, mainly from private collections and made between 1941 and 1951. The works pay tribute not only to the abstract figures that made Motherwell the original spokesman for American art in the post-War years and one of the greatest interpreters of American abstract Expressionism, but also to Peggy Guggenheim, who was his patron and supporter. It was Peggy Motherwell to encourage him the use collage technique.
