A magic day and an exciting exhibition; this is how I would describe my visit to the new exhhibition al the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice. From septembre 28, 2013 through january 6, 2014 the Peggy Guggenheim Collection presents The Avant-gardes of Fin-de-Siècle Paris: Signac, Bonnard, Redon, and their Contemporaries curated by Viven Greene. I visited the exhibition and I showed you some pictures of my visit on Instagram. I'll tell you what I saw and I hope you can as soon as you even to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. It's worth it!

centinaio di lavori, tra dipinti, disegni, opere su carta e stampe provenienti
da diverse collezioni private, la mostra prende in analisi la scena artistica
parigina focalizzandosi sulle
maggiori avanguardie di fine ‘800, in particolar modo su neo-impressionisti,
Nabis, simbolisti e i loro protagonisti.
Il Simbolismo è un movimento che riunisce artisti eterogenei e che usano varie tecniche. I temi trattati sono fantastici e sono da ricondurre al mondo psicologico e mitico. In mostra opere di: Odilon Redon.

La visita è
un viaggio visivo per scoprire le avanguardie parigine degli anni ’80 del 1800.
Un periodo importante per la storia dell’arte, ricco di cambiamenti e
sperimentazioni.
La mostra si apre con due sale dedicate agli Impressionisti, e
mi ha emozionata subito per la presenza di una delle “ninfee” di Monet, ma ha
continuato a stupirmi con le opere di Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, Sisley, Renoir
e Morisot e alcuni disegni di Degas. Dalla terza sala la mostra entra nel vivo
e con un percorso suddiviso per temi intriganti come “La femme fragile”, “il
paesaggio selvaggio”, “ il misticismo”.
L'itinerario
è straordinario e interessante, perché mi sono sentita accompagnata nella
scoperta di artisti noti e altri ancora poco conosciuti, ma ho potuto vedere opere che provengono
da collezioni private e che normalmente non sono accessibili. Sono curiosa di
leggere i vostri commenti e di sapere cosa ne pensate.
About 100 paintings, drawings and a significant number of prints, drawn from notable private collections, focus on the French avant-gardes of the late nineteenth century, with special attention paid to the Neo-Impressionist, Nabis and Symbolist movements.
The visit is a virtual journey to discover the Parisian avant-garde of the 80s in 1800. An important period in the history of art, full of changes and experiments. The exhibition opens with two rooms dedicated to the Impressionists, and I was immediately excited by the presence of one of the "water lilies" by Monet, but continued to amaze me with the works of Henri de Toulouse Laitrec, Sisley, Renoir and Morisot and some drawings Degas. From the third room, the show goes live and with a path divided by intriguing themes such as "La femme fragile", "the wild landscape", mysticism".
The itinerary is unique and interesting, because I felt accompained the discovery of little known artists and the big of Art, but I could see works come from private collections and that are not normally accessible. I'm curious to read your comments and know what you think.
