Il senso di colpa che dà il titolo alla mostra riguarda il giudizio su noi stessi in ogni ambito della nostra vita: lavoro, relazioni di coppia, rapporti interpersonali.

Piet Janssen "Parra" (1976) vive e lavora ad Amsterdam.

Parra è noto ai fanatici delle sue illustrazioni per i temi e i motivi che sono diventati marchio inconfondibile e distintivo del suo stile: colori piatti al massimo della saturazione, vibranti lettere tipografiche disegnate a mano e un mondo popolato da personaggi ibridi, bizzarri, surreali. Uomini dalle teste di uccelli, donne carnali e voluttuose dai corpi rotondi e sensuali, combinati a testi e temi tra i più svariati, da sarcastici e introspettivi a più ironici e audaci fino ad arrivare al non-sense.

The guilt the show takes its title from concerns the judgment we give ourselves in every shade of our life: work, everyday relationships.

Piet Janssen "Parra" (born in 1976) lives and works in Amsterdam.

Parra is known to lovers of his illustrations for the themes and motifs which have become unmistakable and distinctive trademarks of his style: flat, highly saturated colors, vibrant typographic hand-drawn letters, and worlds inhabited by hybrid, bizarre, surreal characters. Men with bird heads, fleshy and voluptuous women with round sensual bodies, mixed with texts and themes ranging from sarcastic and introspective, to ironic and bold, all the way to nonsensical.
