Caterina Zacchetti was born in Milan 1979 and attended the U.Bocconi Art School in Milan and she graduated from the Academy of Belle Arti in Brera, she studied sculpture and she won a scholarship at the Acadamy of Bellas Artes Miguel Hernandez in Altea, in Spain. She moved to Formentera and than to Barcelona. Her poetic artistry is focused on feminine figures.

(fonte: http://www.caterinazacchetti.com/)

“The figures take shape immediately I put my hands in contact with the soft and malleable clay. Bodies full of life emerge step by step from the inert clay, the soft curve of a breast, an ample bottom, a fetching twist of the upper body, and suddenly, I find them in front of me, like sensual apparitions, these exalting and enchanting beautiful women. Soft but sensual curves, characterizing the feminine figure. Slender waists, making the women appear fragile. But strong and sinuous legs because even if the women are dreamers they are strong women, independent, headstrong and full of strength to face life".
